The final meeting of the Erasmus KA2 project of the Béla III High School in Baja took place last week. Hungary was the last stop of the two-year school-to-school cooperation project HealTH AT School. Due to the epidemiological situation, the programme has been postponed for three years.

The representatives of the partner institutions worked on different tasks under the guidance of Noémi Páli, deputy head of the institution and coordinator of the project. Using the knowledge (healthy lifestyle, prevention and management of bullying, safe use of the internet) and experience gained during the implementation of the programme, they have developed a health programme with a strong emphasis on practical implementation, i.e. actual playful, easy-to-use exercises, in addition to the theoretical content. This programme will be published as an e-book that can be used by any school in the European Union to improve the physical and mental health of students and teachers.

The organisers were keen to give foreign colleagues an insight into the culture and history of our country. To this end, teacher Noémi Balykó organised a trip to Buda Castle, teacher Gabriella Derekas showed the historical and natural values of Esztergom, and coordinator Noémi Páli, after a short boat trip on the Danube, impressed the teachers from German, Greek and Transylvanian institutions with the beauty of the Kopaszi Dam.

The meeting was a quality conclusion to a meaningful cooperation, which is expected to continue in a new project.
