Successful Erasmus meeting
The first Erasmus KA2, HealTH AT School meeting was held between the partner schools between 5-9 of November 2018. The location was Baja, at Bajai III. Béla Grammar School which is the main coordinator of the program. There were seven teachers from the other three schools participating in the project (two from the Bolyai Farkas Lyceum in Târgu Mureş, two from Frankfurt, and three from the Greek Almyros) who, together with five local teachers, worked together for a week on the topic of physical and mental health and planned the joint work for the coming two year period.
After the tiring trip on Monday, the school leader welcomed guests on Tuesday and with the help of the students they were guided around our school. After that, the workshop started as part of which, first, the health visitor of the grammar school introduced the role and the operation of the school health service. Then the psychologist of the school held an interactive lecture on cyberbullying. On Wednesday morning, the participants planned the tasks and schedules of the next two years with the guidance of Noemi Major Páli who is the main coordinator of this project and then they were able visit lessons in our school. In the afternoon, participants attended a presentation about the operation of police's youth crime prevention then had a sightseeing tour around Baja with an English-speaking tour guide.
In addition to the serious work they got to know each other and the local gastronomy, then relaxed from daily work with bowling and fish soup. Cultural excitement took place in Pécs on Thursday: after seeing the historical and artistic attractions of the city, the teachers attended a jazz concert, and on Friday morning they shared their farewells.
The meeting was successful and memorable in all respects, the resumption in February will be in Greece, where the students and teachers participating in the project travel from the institution.
